Review of Purevision 2 contact lenses
One of our loyal customers Paul, has sent in this review of the new Purevision 2 contact lenses. Needless, to say he is very impressed.
I have been using contact lenses for several years now. I don’t have terrible vision, but its just annoying enough to be distracting, and give a slight blur on things. I have a tendency to only use contact lenses on occassion because the lenses have always tended to make my eyes feel a little bit gritty, but I also love being able to see clearly.
Bring in Purevision 2.
When I received my lenses from Netlens I found that they felt a little thinner when I took them out of the packet. So into my eyes they went following the easy to use guides on Netlens, and they felt like they fit like a glove. The amazing thing I found with Purevision 2 contact lenses was that it didn’t even feel like I had them in my eyes. These were incredible.
Being that they monthly lenses, I wondered whether they would last the journey because of how thin they felt as I mentioned previously. However, here I am a month later, and they held up beautifully without any discomfort during the whole time. I think we’re on a winner here. I will certainly be renewing my prescription with Netlens using the Purevision 2. They just seem to be a big step forward in technology, and when I can get them as cheaply as Netlens is selling them, well you just can’t go wrong. Thanks Netlens.

Looking after your contacts
Soft contacts Care
Cleansing and disinfecting your contact lenses is an integral part of looking after them, and your eyes. It should be done every day, ideally striaght after you take them out. Your eye care practitioner would have advised you on a care regime suited to your specific contact lenses and needs and this should be strictly adhered to.
1. Before handling any contact lenses ensure that your hands are washed thoroughly and are dried with a lint free towel.
2. Once removing the contact lens from your eye you need to gently rub the lens surface with specially designed cleaners. This will remove contaminants from the lens which could otherwise lead to discomfort, infection or a decrease in the life span of your contact lens.
3. Once the contacts has been cleaned, rinse the contacts with the appropriate solution for your contact lens type. These days most contact lens solutions are multi action, meaning they are suitable for all your cleaning, disinfecting, rinsing and storage needs.
4. Store the lens in the clean storage case and cover using the solution. Secure the lids to the case to store.
Other important information
1. Do not wear disposable lenses for longer than they are intended for as this could possibly hinder how well you see and cause damage to the health of your eyes.
2. After taking your lenses outside of their cases discard any unused solution and allow the case to stand with the lids off so they are able to air dry. This prevents bacteria build up in the case. Your contact lens containers should be replaced with every new purchase of solution or every three months, whichever comes first.
3. Don’t wear your contacts should you have any problems with your eyes. If you experience any discomfort, redness, vision changes etc whilst wearing your contacts remove your disposable lenses immediately and contact your eye care professional.
4. If swimming while using your disposable lenses make sure you wear goggles, however if your contacts do become exposed to chlorine ensure that you clean the contacts without delay afterward.
